Recipe Tin Meals

RecipeTin Meals is a not-for-profit initiative founded by the team behind RecipeTin Eats, one of Australia’s most recognised and influential food platforms. Created in response to growing food insecurity, the organisation prepares and distributes nutritious, chef-made meals to individuals and families experiencing hardship across Sydney.

RPJ Design was engaged to develop the visual identity for RecipeTin Meals, creating a brand that balanced warmth, optimism and community impact. More than a logo, the identity needed to communicate trust, dignity and care while supporting the organisation’s mission to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

As a project closely aligned with our values, we were proud to contribute to an initiative that continues to create a positive impact across the community. Today, RecipeTin Meals has provided hundreds of thousands of meals to those in need, demonstrating the extraordinary difference that can be made when purpose, generosity and action come together.

RecipeTin Meals is the not-for-profit division of RecipeTin Eats, a prominent Australian recipe publisher owned and run by Nagi Maehashi. Every day four million Australians suffer hunger in some form, including 1 in 5 children. The problem of food insecurity is especially endemic amongst women, Indigenous Australians and remote communities. “It’s always been my dream to launch a philanthropic initiative one day, to give back to the community and help those in need,”
